Our Team

Amanda and Kate are co-owners of Terra Creative Collective. Our mission is to cultivate creativity, community, and joy.

Amanda (she/her) has been making jewelry since she was five. She worked in early and high school education before becoming a full-time production potter and ceramics instructor. During the pandemic, she fell in love with metal clay and began teaching metal clay workshops out of her home. She lives in OTR with her partner and two adorable kitties. Amanda also enjoys knitting, camping, and anything related to water.

Kate (she/her) has always loved nature and art. She studied ecology, sustainability, and education in college, and filled her elective credits with pottery classes. After graduating, Kate spent many years creating community gardens and working in elementary schools. She is excited to to trade the classroom for the studio! Kate lives with her husband, three daughters, dog, and two cats. She loves gardening, sewing, knitting, and traveling. Kate loves to use metal clay and molds to create jewelry that captures plants and fossils from her adventures.
